The Trenton girls basketball team scored the first basket of the game, but Chillicothe controlled the rest of the game in a 48-25 Lady Hornets win on the road.
Chillicothe Lady Hornets Coach Darren Smith wasn’t entirely happy with his team’s performance.
Chillicothe was led by Jolie Bonderer with 18, Essie Hicks with 12, Lucy Reeter with 9, Jessica Reeter with 3, Bre Pithan, Kayanna Cranmer and Delanie Kieffer all had two each and Ellie Barnett, Izzy Montgomery, Clara Leamer and Cali Burkhart all saw playing time.
Unofficially for Trenton, all 25 points were scored by Freshman Mirena King.
