The Pattonsburg varsity boys basketball team beat the Chillicothe Junior Varsity team 38 to 28 at the NCMC Holiday Hoops event. Chillicothe led 17 to 13 at halftime but was outscored 11 to 4 in the third quarter.
Alijah Hibner led the Hornets JV with 14 points, Chace Corbin had nine, Quenten Midgyett and Ashton Baker each had two points and Langston Johnson had a free throw.
Pattonsburg was led by Zane Reed who had 27 of his team’s 38 points.
