Slick road conditions may have contributed to three accidents this morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports two accidents in Caldwell County and one in Grundy County.
At about 7:34, Troopers were called for a vehicle that had slid off the road at Business 36, a mile west of Hamilton. The driver, 39-year-old Michelle Shuman of Hamilton reported minor injuries after her vehicle came to rest in a drainage ditch. She was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
Also at 7:34, Troopers responded to Route CC, north of Willis Street. The driver was southbound and ran off the road and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. The driver, 33-year-old Brooke S Henderson, was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries. She was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
At 8:00 am on Missouri Highway 6 in Galt, two were injured when the vehicle driven westbound by 33-year-old Eliezer Santiago of Milan lost control on the frost-covered road and ran off the northside, and struck an embankment and tree. Santiago and his passenger, 47-year-old Ruiz Osvoldo of Puerto Rico were not wearing safety belts and suffered moderate injuries. They were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
