With the acquisition of more than 300 acres by the City of Chillicothe, the prospects for economic development are looking up. Chillicothe Economic Developer Terry Rumery says land is just part of the puzzle. Utilities and transportation are other factors.

The city also has US 65 and US 36 to provide transportation and a Rail Spur line that runs adjacent to part of the newly aquire3d land.
