The Lawson Lady Cardinals played with Chillicothe for the much of the first quarter. Chillicothe started getting hot from the outside and rolled to a 65-28 win over Lawson.
Chillicothe had 12 treys in the game, led by five from Jessica Reeter, who finished with 22 points.
Lady Hornets Coach Darren Smith said his team did a lot of things well, in addition to the outside shooting.
In addition to Reeter’s 22 points, Jolie Bonderer had 15, Cali Burkhardt with 9, Essie Hicks and Bre Pithan each with 6, Lucy Reeter with three, Ellie Barnett and Delanie Kieffer each with 2 and playing time for Kayanna Cranmer, Clara Leamer, Izzie Montgomery, Madison Albaugh all saw playing time.
The JV Lady Hornets won 45 to 28 led by Cranmer with 9, Montgomery with 7, Liz Oliver with 6. Burkhart and Kealee French each with 5, Albaugh, Kieffer and Izzy Garr had three each, Alyssa Monroe and Emily Schreiner each with 2 and playing time for Isabella Fitzpatrick and Tori Stoner.
