The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 118 calls for service Wednesday, some of the calls include well-being checks, and assistance with civil matters.
12:11 pm, Officer conducted a well-being check of a resident in the 400 block of Polk Street. The resident was found to be deceased from probable natural causes. Livingston County Coroner’s Office contacted and took custody of the body.
12:51 pm, Subject calling to speak with Officer about theft report from Simpson Park.
3:49 pm, Subject calling about being scammed by subjects taking control of their computer and obtaining an amount of money.
4:30 pm, Reported missing child from the 1100 block of Sunset Avenue. Called back and advised the child was located at a friend’s house.
7:32 pm, Officers took a report of possible child abuse in the 900 block of Broadway Street. Officers determined occurred in another jurisdiction.
