A Brookfield woman was injured in an accident Friday morning on US 36, west of Utica. State Troopers report 40-year-old Megan Hughes Capps of Brookfield was westbound when she struck the rear of a vehicle stopped on the shoulder, driven by 32-year-old Jeremy M Taylor of Kansas City, KS. Hughes Capps was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment of minor injuries. She was wearing a safety belt. Taylor was not injured.
