A strong second half helped the Chillicothe boys basketball team beat Lawson in the consolation game of the Cameron Tournament 50 to 28. Lawson led by 2 points after the first quarter, but the Hornets outscored them each of the next three quarters.
Hornets Coach Tim Cool said the Hornets played a much better second half of basketball.
Chillicothe was led by Landon Winder with 14 points, Wyatt Brandsgaard with 13, Griff Bonderer with 11, James Mathew with 8, Alijah Hibner and Jackson Trout with 2 each and playing time for Chace Corbin and Ricky Wilson.
