As many people are preparing to file their 2021 Income Tax return, there are some that are still waiting for the 2020 return to be processed. Michael Devine from the IRS says don’t wait to file this year’s return.
Devine says there were some cases where people filed just to get various payments.
Devine says using a tax service or a good software package to file, including those available through IRS Free File, can take some of the confusion out of the process.
