The Chillicothe Lady Hornets struggled with shooting from behind the three-point arc and lost at St Joseph Benton 55 to 25. Benton led by 1 point after the first quarter and by just ten at the half.
Unofficially Chillicothe made just two three-point shots out of 23 attempts.
Coach Darren Smith took the blame for the loss.
Jolie Bonderer led Chillicothe with seven points, Jessica Reeter with six, Bre Pithan with four, Essie Hicks, Lucy Reeter, Kayanna Cranmer and Delanie Kieffer each with two and four other Lady Hornet players say playing time.
Chillicothe falls to 16-4 while Benton improves to 14-7.
