The rezoning of a portion of the old Chillicothe Women’s Prison property on Third Street received the approval of the Chillicothe City Council Monday. The Planning and Zoning Commission forwarded the request to the council after giving their approval. City Codes Officer Kevin Shira made the presentation
Shira says the property is on the south side of Third Street and is for the northeast part of the property. The request was to change the zoning to R-3 Residential for multi-family dwellings.
The development called Timber Villa II is similar to the one near the Hospital.
