The Chillicothe Lady Hornets scored the first eight points and led the rest of the game in a 53 to 24 win at St Joseph Lafayette.
Chillicothe Coach Darren Smith said it was a good team win.
Essie Hicks had a strong game to lead Chillicothe with 18 points. Jolie Bonderer had 15 points, Jessica Reeter with six, Clara Leamer, Lucy Reeter and Bre Pithan each scored four. Cali Burkhardt had two points and seeing playing time were Ellie Barnett, Kayanna Cranmer, Delanie Kieffer, Izzie Montgomery and Madison Albaugh.
With the win, Chillicothe girls are 17 and 4 while Lafayette falls to 14 and 10 on the season.
