Two arrests are reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol for the local area.
Wednesday at about 5:55 pm, Troopers in Chariton County arrested 28-year-old Brian L Burkett of Higbee for alleged leaving the scene of an accident and careless and imprudent driving. He was processed and released.
At about 6:15 pm in Clinton County, Troopers arrested 73-year-old James M Brooks of Polo for alleged DWI and Speeding. He was taken to the Clinton County Jail.
