A Carrollton man was killed in a one vehicle accident near Kirksville in Adair County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred Friday around 10:30am on Missouri Route 11, seven miles southwest of Kirksville.
The Patrol reports a pick up was driven by 72-year-old Gerald L. Craig of Carrollton when the truck ran off the right side of the road and overturned into a pond. Craig was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner.
