The Chillicothe Hornets Boys Basketball team begins district tournament play this afternoon when they host the Savannah Savages. Chillicothe beat Savannah two weeks ago 48 to 41 in Chillicothe.
The Hornets are the #3 seed in the district tournament. In this year’s Class 4 tournament, the Hornets are in a 6-team district. In the first round, the higher seed hosts the game. The semi-final and championship games in the tournament will be held at St Joseph Benton.
Today’s game tips off at 2:00 pm at Chillicothe High School. KCHI will broadcast the boys game this afternoon with the pre-game show at 1:45pm.
The Lady Hornets are the #2 seed and have a first round bye.
