One-hundred-thirty-two calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Thursday. Some of the calls include:
6:59 am, a two-vehicle, non-injury crash at the eastbound on ramp to US 36 from US 65. An eastbound vehicle from the ramp was merging into traffic and collided with another vehicle. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. The merging driver was cited for improper lane use.
12:44 pm, Officers responded to a local bank on a report of possible fake checks being passed. Evidence was obtained. The investigation is being continued at this time.
4:54 pm, Subject calling from the 2100 block of Country Club Drive in for property damage to a vehicle. Window broken.
8:34 pm, Report of kids fighting at Locust and Webster Streets. Two adults and a juvenile were contacted and taken into custody, two for assault and one for property damage. They were taken to the PD where all involved declined to pursue any charges against the other and were released.
