Unemployment numbers in Missouri are still showing ups and downs. The Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development released the unemployment figures for March.
Looking at the area counties, from lowest to highest…
Livingston………. 3.1% – up from 2.9%
Chariton…………. 3.1% – up from 3.0%
Daviess…………. 3.2% – down from 3.5%
Grundy………….. 3.6% – up from 3.4%
Caldwell…………. 3.7% – down from 5.2%
Carroll…………… 3.9% – down from 4.4%
Linn………………. 4.1% – down from 4.6%
Sullivan………….. 4.7% – up from 4.6%
The State of Missouri is at 3.6% – down from 3.7%
And the US unemployment figures also dipped to 3.8%,- down from 4.1% in February.
