Both girls and boys track were in competition at the Cameron Invitational Tuesday night.
The girls team racked up six top three finishes including:
1st in the 400 meter dash for Kayanna Cranmer – 1:02.92
1st in the 4×800 meter relay for Jolie Bonderer, Kayla Cakranata, Cranmer and Kadence Shipers – 10:51.00
2nd in the 1600 meter run for Jolie Bonderer – 5:51.61
3rd in the 200 meter dash for Bronlyn Ward – 27.44
3rd in the 3200 meter run for Kadence Shippers – 13:41.6
3rd in the 4×400 meter relay for Bonderer, Cranmer, Ward and Anna Pfaff – 4:36.51
The boys team collected nine top-three finishes including:
1st in shot put for Demarcus Kelow – 15.07 meters
1st in Discus for Demarcus Kelow – 50.69 meters
1st in Triple Jump for Javen Kille – 12.18 meters
1st in Pole Vault for Gavin Funk – 3.81 meters
2nd in the 300 meter hurdles for Braxten Johnson – 45.27
2nd in the 3200 meter run for Cain Evans – 11:07.23
2nd in High Jump for Trisitan Funk – 1.78 meters
3rd in the 110 meter hurdles for Braxten Johnson – 17.36
3rd in the 4×200 meter relay for Corbin Rodenberg, Charles Walker, Quentin Cranmer and Johnson – 1:40.36
The girls team finished 3rd in a field of 13 teams behind Lawson and Cameron with 86.5 team points.
The boys team took home second in a field of 14 teams behind Lawson with 128 team points.
