The Chillicothe Police Department handled nearly 180 calls for service Wednesday and Thursday. Some of the calls include:
Wednesday
2:08 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 1300 block of Burnam Rd. Officers responded and both parties agreed to exchange information.
Thursday:
6:19 am, Officers assisting Fire Department with traffic control, at the fire in the 1100 block of Bryan Street.
3:18 pm, Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash on MO 190 Hwy. and Mohawk Rd. An eastbound vehicle failed to stop for a steady red light and collided with a southbound vehicle. Moderate damage was reported.
4:50 pm, Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle, non-injury traffic crash at Third St. and Walnut St. A vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. Minor damage was reported.
5:42 pm, Officer from Pennsylvania called to speak with Officer about having recovered a stolen vehicle. The Officer is requesting a copy of the stolen vehicle report. The officer called back later in the day. The suspect had provided information on a pending case in Chillicothe PD jurisdiction.
6:23 pm, An officer at the Police Department took a report from an individual who was assaulted by a person known to them, while at Danner Park. The 26-year-old alleged suspect was taken into custody after they came to the Police Department. They were processed for Domestic Assault, cited, and released.
