The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 98 calls for service Wednesday. Some of the calls include:
10:27 AM, Officers took a report in the 50 block of 10th Street of a fraudulent account opened in someone else’s name. The investigation is ongoing.
1:42 PM, Officers responded to the 500 block of S Washington Street for a subject refusing to leave a business. Officers contacted the subject and issued a warning for trespassing. The subject then agreed to leave.
2:11 PM, Officers responded to the area of Shafer Park for a report of an unattended child. The child was located and was safe. The department began an investigation for child endangerment. A suspect has been identified, charges are pending.
3:24 PM, Officers responded to the 10 block of Jackson Street for a report of a dog at large that had chased a small child. Officers located the dog and owner. Citations were issued.
9:01 PM, Officers responded to the area of Green and Graves Street for a report of a C&I driver. Officers located the driver and determined the driver was having mechanical issues with their vehicle. No citations were issued.
