The Chillicothe Street Projects are well underway for the summer. Street Superintendent Jeff Gillespie says the contractor completed Irving Street.
Work on two other streets will continue,
On Olive, south of Gravesville Park, there will be a street closing for replacement and drainage.
On Woodrow, CMU has completed their utility work, but there is a gas line that needs to be relocated, that work begins this week and when complete, the contractor will begin the road surface and drainage work.
Chillicothe Municipal Utilities will do work on 2nd Street. They are relocating utility poles to move them back from the streetside, The work will take place throughout the summer. Motorists should watch for utility crews and give them room to do their work.
The Water Department will be replacing a water line on Brunswick, south of Ryan. The work is mostly in the right of way, but there may be interruptions to traffic at times.
