The Missouri Secretary of State, Jay Ashcroft visited the Lillian Desmarias Youth Library Wednesday afternoon to deliver a check to aid in technology improvements. The check for $28,498 is a Technology Mini Grant and will help the library to serve the community by providing access to services they need. Ashcroft says these visits are important to him.
Livingston County Library Director Sue Lightfoot Horine says the visits are also important to her.
She says the support through grants is important, but the support of the State Librarian and the services provided through the Secretary of State’s office is also important.
