The Chillicothe R-II school year begins on August 23rd. Parents need to make sure their children are up to date on vaccinations before school begins. Mary Taylor from the Livingston County Health Center says there are several vaccinations required at various ages.
Taylor says the next round with a deadline is at 8th grade
Then for High School Seniors, the meningitis regimen is repeated, with recommended vaccination for meningitis. She says those that have not had the HPV vaccine can also receive that.
