Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

One-hundred-forty calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.

5:57 am, Reported a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Polk and Washington Streets. One vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.  A vehicle southbound on Washington and a vehicle eastbound on Polk Street collided.

6:57 am, Report of stolen tools from a vehicle while parked in the 200 block of W. Business 36.  Investigation continuing.

8:36 am, 28-year-old turned themselves in on a Municipal warrant for Peace Disturbance, posted bond and was released.

8:36 am, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Second Street, for missing prescription medication.   The investigation continues.

10:41 am, Officer out in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street for a hit and run crash in a parking lot.  Vehicle description obtained and investigation continuing.

10:56 am, Officers responded to the 600 block of Washington Street, for a two car accident.   No injuries occurred.

11:09 am, Officers responded to a location just east of town where a trailer disconnected from the towing vehicle and crossed all four lanes of US 36, coming to rest in the ditch on the north side of the westbound lanes.  No other vehicles were struck and no damage reported.

11:40 am, Subject reporting a Burglary and Theft from a residence in the 200 block of Herriman Street.  Structure entered and tools taken from where construction was taking place.

3:08 pm, Officer out at Hedrick Medical Center for a dog bite.  Officers determined the incident occurred in Hale.  The hospital was advised to contact Carroll County.
