Acquiring property and selling property were discussed by council members in the comment portion of Monday’s City Council meeting. City Administrator Roze Frampton says the city is close to completing the acquisition of the Strand Hotel Apartments.
Closing on the sale of a portion of the old prison property is also close to closing.
That project will create some needed housing.
