One of three arrested in Chillicothe in July on charges of alleged endangering the welfare of a child has pleaded guilty and been sentenced. Chillicothe Police investigated the incident in Late July and arrested 33-year-old Donald Lee Franks, 34-year-old Jordana Karns-Kreischer, and 54-year-old Cindy M Pursel.
Thursday, Franks was arraigned and pled guilty to one count of endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced by Judge Ryan Horsman to 2 years in prison.
Karns-Kreischer and Pursel were arraigned in July and entered pleas of not guilty on four counts each of alleged endangering the welfare of a child. Karns-Kreischer remains in custody at the Harrison County Jail with bond set at $10,000. Pursel was released on her own recognizance on August 29th.
Both have preliminary hearings scheduled for October 19th.
