Total bids of $1.35 million dollars for the rehab of nine bridges were awarded to contractors by the Livingston County Commission. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says this will extend the life of the bridges considered among the worst in the county.
The bids were received September 13th and reviewed by the Engineers. Winning bids include:

With a bid of $43,000 – Bridge 3460012 on LIV 430, ¼ mile east of LIV 405 in Monroe Township
With a bid of $147,496 – Bridge 1890009 on LIV 216, 1 mile east of the end of Route KK in Wheeling Township
With a bid of $154,469 – Bridge 1670016 on LIV 222, ½ mile west of LIV 251 in Rich Hill Township

With a bid of $239,810 – Bridge 2340004 on LIV 261, ½ mile south of US 36 in Chillicothe Township
With a bid of $27,952 – Bridge 07900071 on LIV 204, ¼ mile west of LIV 251 in Cream Ridge Township
With a bid of $36,772 – Bridge 06900071 on LIV 245, ¼ mile north of Route K in Cream Ridge Township
With a bid of $41,350 – Bridge 03600031 on LIV 504, ¼ mile east of LIV 519 in Jackson Township
The work on the nine bridges is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
Bids were received for Bridge 00300006, but the bridge was removed from the project due to the budget.
