The Chillicothe Middle School Lady Hornets Softball team improved their record to 6-0 after a win over Brookfield 10-0 on Thursday.
Hope led things off in the circle. She surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out four and walking zero. Landry Marsh followed, facing seven batters, allowing no hits, striking out four, and walking one.
The Lady Hornets scored all six of their runs in the 4th inning. Hope, Lexy, Bryleigh, and Lydia all tallied RBIs in the inning. Landry, Hope, Ellie, and Lydia all had hits. Bryleigh had two hits. The Lady Hornets were aggressive on the base paths and stole six bases.
CMS Softball’s next game is Monday at Trenton at 5 pm.
