Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to the scene of a fire at the Canadian Pacific railroad bridge that crosses the Grand River south of Chillicothe. The call came in about 6:35 Monday morning.
Captain Less Hinnen says the fire appears to have started in the brush that built up under the bridge during the flooding. That had spread to a couple of railroad ties. The fire department has the fire on the rail ties out and are working on the rest of the fire.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating.
