Chillicothe Firefighters responded to a report of smoke Sunday evening, north of Chillicothe. The call came in just after 7:00 pm, to 10734 LIV 237. The fire crew arrived with an engine and tanker and found no smoke showing from the outside. Smoke detectors in the home were going off and the resident stated there was a hot smell in the return air vents.
The fire crew checked the home and the smoke detectors and found no sign of fire. They advised the resident to call if there were more problems.
