Road closings for events in the month of November are approved by the Chillicothe Police Chief, Jon Maples. The street closings include:
Thursday, November 15th, for the Main Street Memory Tree Lighting, Webster Street will be closed between Washington Street and Locust Street. The ally adjacent to Silvermoon Plaza will also be closed. The streets will be closed from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
The Chillicothe Holiday Parade is Saturday November 17th. On Friday the 16th, Jackson Street will be closed at the Washington Street intersection starting at 5:00 pm. That location will be closed until after the holiday parade on Saturday.
The Chillicothe Holiday Parade is Saturday the 17th, starting at 10:00 am. The normal parade route will be closed during the parade. That includes: Washington Street, from Polk to Third Street, Third from Washington to Locust and Locust from Third Street through the downtown area.
Wednesday December 5th, Webster Street closed from Locust to Washington Street, between 3:45 and 8:30 pm. The closure is for the Main Street Kid’s Christmas.
