The Chillicothe Fire Department, through their Honor Guard with the Police Department, received an American Flag for display near or over Washington Street at appropriate times. Fire Chief Darrell Wright says one of those times will be for honoring Veterans on and around Veteran’s Day this weekend.
Chief Wright says the flag is also displayed at other times, including for funerals or processions for Fire Fighters, Officers, and for others where appropriate.
He says there are times when that big flag cannot be used.
The Chillicothe Fire Department hopes to display their largest flag to honor our Veterans this weekend.
