Chillicothe’s final neighborhood elementary school building has been sold. The Chillicothe R-II School Board approved the sale of Field School for $149,000 to Michael Neal, who also purchased Dewey School and intends to turn Field School into apartments.
The School Board also approved lowering the sale price of the remaining Chillicothe R-II School District-owned lot in the Christison Addition by $5,000. That property is now available for $25,000.
