Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Nearly 90 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.  Some of the calls include Animal Control issues.  Calls in the report include:

8:15 AM, Officers responded to the 200 block of Polk Street in reference to a neighbor’s tree branch had fallen down partially in his yard he stated that someone had drug it and put it on his property against his permission. Officers attempted to investigate and City Codes had gotten involved to assist in the issue.

09:20 AM, a citizen found a chainsaw on the bridge of US 65 over US 36.

3:00 PM, 07/03, at about 1:00 pm Officers responded to the 200 Block of Brunswick on a report of property damage. A pick up truck came into the parking lot of a business and started to spin its tires spinning the truck around several times causing major property damage to the property and vehicles. through the investigation officers located the owner and driver. The driver was a juvenile. This case will be forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

5:52 PM, Officers responded to the 200 block of Webster St. for a domestic disturbance.

6:31 PM, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Locust Street for property damage on a vehicle. They discovered that the victim’s vehicle been tampered with but the suspect(s) had siphoned fuel from the vehicle. The Investigation is ongoing.

9:00 PM, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Maple St. for a well-being check and found a deceased woman in the home. The Coroner was called.

Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
