Illinois Man Booked On Drug Charge
An Illinois man was arrested by Chillicothe Police officers Wednesday morning for alleged possession of a controlled substance. Forty-four-year-old Joshua Patrick Dickermann was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold. He was since charged in Livingston County Court.

The Livingston County Commissioners will meet in regular session Thursday. The meeting begins at 9:30 am in the commission room of the courthouse. Council Approves New Police Officer
A new police officer was hired in Monday’s Chillicothe City Council Executive Session. The Council, on a vote of 4-0, hired Matt Wright as a full-time police officer at $22.00 an hour. He was hired as of Tuesday. There were no other executive session items.
