Calls to 911 about guns pointed at citizens were investigated by the Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday.
At about 1:16 PM, dispatch received two separate calls of 4 males pointing guns at citizens. The officers located the vehicle a short while later in the 300 block of South Washington Street. During the investigation, officers found the four juveniles were driving around pointing orbiz guns at people and attempting to shoot them with the orbiz. One of the Orbiz guns was painted black and could have been mistaken for a real gun. Parents were contacted and the juveniles were released to the parents and or guardians of the juveniles. The report was sent to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.
Chief Jon Maples says this is a serious situation and could have ended differently. He asks parents to have talks with their children about this type of issue.
