Friday, July 12th
10:29 a.m., Officers took a report of a sex offense. The investigation continues.
05:29 p.m., Officers responded to the 800 block of Elm St. for a report of possible child abuse. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.
10:28 p.m., Officers responded to the 1700 block of Boyd St. for a report of a house fire. Officers assisted the Chillicothe Fire Department.
Saturday, July 13th
04:11 a.m., Officers responded to the US 36 and US 65 junction for a report of a vehicle traveling in excess of 90 miles per hour on US 36. Officers stopped the vehicle and citations were issued.
12:08 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Locust St. for a report of a male committing lewd acts in public. Officers took a report and the investigation is ongoing.
06:00 p.m., Officers took a delayed motor vehicle theft report. Officers had located the vehicle prior to the report being made. Charges are being sought for the suspect.
09:55 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Cowgill St. and Olive St. During the stop Officers observed the driver to display signs of impairment. The driver was later arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was later released with citations.
11:22 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Clay St. for a report of a missing juvenile. Officers began searching the area when the juvenile was located hiding in the residence.
Sunday, July 14th
09:33 a.m., Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 400 block of Locust St. Officers arrived and observed the building to be secure.
07:12 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near Curtis St. and Washington St. Officers determined the female driver had a revoked driver’s license. She was arrested and later released with citations.
