Serving a warrant led to a drug investigation Saturday. The Chillicothe Police report they attempted to locate a person with Livingston County warrants in the 500 block of Mohawk, at about 8:00 am. The suspect was located and the warrant was served with the original offenses of possession of a controlled substance and burglary.
Additional charges are pending after the suspect was found in possession of narcotics. The investigation resulted in the arrest of one other man for possession of a controlled substance.
Officers applied for and were granted a Livingston County Search warrant. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and paraphernalia as well as the arrest of two additional females inside the residence.
All suspects were transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
