The State’s Jobs report for June shows non-farm payroll increased by 14,700 jobs, private industry payroll increased by 14,600 jobs, and government employment increased by 100 jobs.
Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 7/10’s of a percentage point, from 3.0% in June 2023 to 3.7% in June 2024. That is also up from 3.5% in May 2024.
The monthly unemployment report with a breakdown by county will be released on July 26th.
