Chillicothe Mayor Theresa Kelly is accepting letters of application for those interested in serving on three City Boards. The three openings are to fill expired terms that will all expire on August 29, 2024. These are all four (4) year term appointments. The appointments are for:
Planning & Zoning Board – they meet on the first Monday of each month as needed The meetings are held at 5:30 pm at Chillicothe City Hall.
Railroad Advisory Board – they meet on the third Tuesday in the months of February, May, August, and November at 5:15 pm. These meetings are also held at the Chillicothe City Hall.
Chillicothe Housing Board – they meet on the third Tuesday in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 5 pm in the Housing Authority Community Office located at 320 Park Lane, Chillicothe.
Anyone interested can pick up a board volunteer form at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall or on the City’s website. The application deadline is Thursday August 1st.
