Nearly 100 calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday.
At 11:38 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a vehicle with its flashers on blocking traffic in the 1300 block of N. Washington St.
At 4:00 p.m., Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a fire in the 500 block of S. Washington St.
At 4:45 p.m., a citizen turned in lost property to the Police Department. An owner was identified, and the property was returned.
At 4:48 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash on S. Washington St. at W. Business 36. Officers report one vehicle collided with the rear of another.
At 8:03 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 500 block of Orchard St. Officers responded and found two parking violations for vehicles parked for the Mudcat Game. Officers contacted vehicle owners to move their vehicles.
Officers also handled several animal complaints and followed up on on going invesatigations.
