Sullivan County had 1,295 ballots cast in the Primary Election.
There were three contested races for County Office in Sullivan County, all were on the Republican Ballot. They include:
Wester District Commissioner
Michael Williams received 331 votes
Douglas Fleshman received 258 votes
Williams is the winner and is not challenged in November.
Sullivan County Sheriff
Scott Frazier received 574 votes
Brian Salsberry received 102 votes
Cody Perkins received 507 votes
Frazier is the winner and has no challenger for the November election.
Sullivan County Assessor
Angel Oder received 823 votes
Stephanie King received 345 votes
Oder is the winner and has no challenger in November.
Milan residents were asked to impose a local USE TAX, at the same rate as the local sales tax, 1%. Changes in the local sales tax would also be made to the USE TAX. The vote of Milan residents was 90 Yes to 120 No. The measure was DEFEATED.
