The Chillicothe R-II School Board meeting will be held Monday evening at the district office. The meeting date was changed due to the start of the school year.
Prior to the regular school board meeting, at 4:45 pm a Public Hearing will be held on the School District’s proposed tax rate of $4.7103 per $100 Valuation
The School Board members will meet at 5:00 pm
The agenda begins with welcoming new staff members
Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers will provide an update on the CES expansion project.
There will be an open house and tours of the new building the week of homecoming.
The board will consider the consent agenda and the financial report.
The School District’s Tax Rate of $4.7103 will be considered for approval.
A Lease purchase agreement of $1.2 million will be presented to finance the purchase and installation of personal property, equipment and vehicles, repairing parking lots, and improving district facilities.
Approval of the bus routes for the year.
An executive session is planned to follow the meeting for real estate, personnel, and student matters.
