Eighty-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.
At 1:28 a.m., Officers were patrolling Edgewood Cemetery and contacted a male at the gazebo. He agreed to leave.
At 2:07 a.m., while on patrol, Officers saw an open door to a closed business in the 1200 block of Fair St. Officers checked the area, and a key holder was contacted. Officers did not observe any criminal activity at that time.
At 12:47 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check of child running from an adult in the 1200 block of Jackson St. Officers responded, contacted the adult and found the adult was a grandparent trying to get their grandchild to listen to them.
Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks and responded to 84 calls for service on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024.
