Two people suffered moderate injuries Friday morning in an accident involving a Chevy Silverado and a tractor Friday morning in Caldwell County.
The crash occurred at 8 a.m. at the intersection of Elk Grove Road and Pleasant Hill Drive, two miles south of Braymer. Lois Paul, age 80 of Norborne, was a passenger of the Silverado driven by Steven Paul, age 57 of Norborne, which was traveling south bound on Elk Grove Road when the collision occurred with the tractor driven by a 16 year old male juvenile from Braymer traveling east bound on south east Pleasant Hill Drive.
Both vehicles met at the intersection, with the vehicle driven by Steven Paul striking the juvenile’s tractor in the left front corner, causing the tractor to overturn. Lois Paul was transported by Caldwell County EMS to Liberty Hospital, and the juvenile was transported by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Both the tractor and the Silverado were extensively damaged in the collision.
