Chillicothe Municipal Utilities’ east-side interceptor project for the Wastewater Department continues in the engineering phase. General Manager Matt Hopper says this is to improve flow.
To relieve congestion in the sewer lines.
Hopper says this is primarily to address current issues but would also serve the new industrial park as that is constructed.
The engineering phase of the project is expected to take an additional 3-4 months.
