A woman arrested following a traffic stop in June has been charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance. Fifty-seven-year-old Joanna Sue Harper of Chillicothe was arrested on June 25th. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by Chillicothe Police Department. As a result of the stop, the driver gave officers permission to search the vehicle. The search resulted in officers finding suspected methamphetamine in items belonging to Harper. At the time, Harper was cited for the offense and released.
Charges were filed and a summons was issued for Harper to appear in Associate Court, on September 4th at 9:00 am.
