An accident and an arrest are in the reports from the Missouri Highway Patrol for the weekend in the area counties.
Saturday at about 12:26 am, Troopers in Grundy County responded to a crash on Route K, two miles southeast of Laredo. The single-vehicle crash happened when 23-year-old Madison A. Weiseman of Chula was southbound and struck a cow in the roadway. She ran off the east side of the road and then returned to the road. She was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of minor injuries.
Saturday at about 11:30 pm, Troopers in Livingston County arrested 20-year-old Jaidrain J. Kasey of Meadville for alleged DWI – drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.
