Friday, August 23rd
09:21 a.m., Officers spoke with an outside law enforcement agency regarding an investigation.
12:59 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Clay St. for a well being check. It was discovered upon arrival that the person in question was deceased. An investigation is ongoing.
02:27 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Polk St. and Cherry St. Officers finished the stop and the driver then drove over a curb. Officers stopped the driver again and called for a ride.
02:54 p.m., Officers responded to the 800 block of Jansen Ave for a report of possible stolen property.
04:35 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of four males fist fighting.
09:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of Vine St. for a report of suspicious activity. The caller advised Officers they believed someone was trying to get in their vehicle.
09:59 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Edgewood Dr. and Bryan St. for a report of illegal burning.
Saturday, August 24th
05:54 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Walnut St. and Springhill St. for a report of a child in a UTV.
10:34 p.m., Officers observed a male in the 300 block of S Washington St. at a closed business. Officers spoke with the male and advised him to leave the property.
10:43 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of vehicles racing in a parking lot. Officers arrived and advised the drivers to stop.
10:51 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Clay St. and Elm St. During the stop Officers initiated an investigation for driving while intoxicated. A male driver was later arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was booked, cited, and then released.
11:58 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Washington St. During the stop Officers initiated an investigation for driving while intoxicated. A female driver was later arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was booked, cited, and released.
Sunday, August 25th
01:06 p.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of E Business 36 for a report of a male causing a disturbance in a business. The manager requested that the male be trespassed. Officers advised the male to leave the property, telling him he was trespassed.
Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks, and follow-up investigations.
