Council Approves Bid To Outfit New Police Vehicles

Materials and labor for equipping two new vehicles for the Chillicothe Police Department are approved by the Chillicothe City Council.  Police Chief Jon Maples presented the bid from Nroute, not to exceed $34,083 for the purchase and installation of necessary decals, equipment, and travel and transportation.  The City had previously approved the purchase of two 2024 Dodge Durango Police Utility Interceptor vehicles.

Equipment includes lights, sirens, radio and computer mounting brackets, rear-seat equipment for detainees, and installation of items supplied by the department.
